Designed by Philippe Briand for limitless travel, each yacht is typical of the Vitruvius® design concept adhering to the core principles of efficiency, sustainability and seaworthiness. There are currently 8 different designs available in the series, each equipped with the various tenders and toys. Specifications can be modified at the owner’s request. 50m
The 50m Explorer is the standard version of the Vitruvius® Yachts series.

The 50m Explorer “Exuma” is the first Vitruvius® to be built entirely in aluminium by Picchiotti SrL in La Spezia, Italy. Lightweight, with a very limited drag, she is a yacht with purpose and is designed ‘to go everywhere’.

The 55m Explorer is another standard version in the Vitruvius series. Designed over two expansive decks with a swimming pool and lounge areas on the main deck.

Launched in July 2011 is the second in the Vitruvius series, a 55m Ice Class, “Galileo G”. Designed with a steel hull, her generous living space is spread over the main deck and two elegant sundecks.

The 60m Explorer is another variation of the Vitruvius® series. Designed with three decks, the boat accommodates 8 guests and up to 14 crew.

With a maximum speed of 17 kts, the 62m Explorers come equipped with a tender, rescue boat, 3 wave runners and helicopter landing capabilities. In a class of their own, there are three different versions: Vitruvius® Oceanus, Vitruvius® Helios and Vitruvius® Major.

Currently under construction, being built by Picchiotti SrL in La Spezia is the 73m Explorer, the admiral of the Vitruvius® Yacht fleet. The boat accommodates 12 guests and 20 crew.

Enigma XK - a converted 71m fisheries vessel - Boat International April 2013
Norna was built – and built tough – in 1988. From then until she was decommissioned in 2010, the 71 metre Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency (SFPA) vessel patrolled the freezing waters of the North Atlantic for illegal fishing. The all-steel Norna is now being converted into the luxurious but seaworthy explorer yacht Enigma XK – a project due for completion this summer.
